erbas™ are a trusted provider of engineering and sustainability consultancy services. We collaborate internally and externally with a balance of professionalism and family ethos, which are underpinned by our core values:

  • We care about each other and our clients
  • We’re accountable and take ownership
  • We’re ever evolving.

From humble beginnings as a sole-operator, Ken Erbas began operations from his Sydney carport in 1997, providing mechanical engineering services. By 2013, Erbas & Associates had become the number one building services engineering services provider in NSW (as listed by Cordell Connect for project quantum), delivering over one hundred projects per annum across all building services sectors.

From 2014, Erbas & Associates embarked on an ambitious expansion program, establishing another three offices interstate and abroad, predominately focusing on project delivery in the eastern states of Australia, with occasional commissions internationally.

During 2017, Erbas & Associates re-branded to erbas™ to reflect the evolving trend toward a design-oriented approach to services, celebration of 20 years of operations and to reflect the promotion of internal staff into the business partnership. After three years of continued growth in Victoria, erbas™ relocated to a newly purchased office in Melbourne's CBD and had an architecturally designed fitout completed mid-2017 on Melbourne's famous Hardware Lane stretch.

In 2019 erbas™ relaunched their Environmentally Sustainable Design subsidiary brand, erbas™ SUSTAIN, to celebrate the company's shift to offering a focused, broader offering in the sustainability, wellbeing and ESG space. A strong regional presence was also established on the NSW/Victorian border town of Echuca/Moama in 2019 to provide our services to the Riverina area.

During 2021 we welcomed an additional two new directors to the Melbourne office and another 35 staff to the organisation.

Finally, in 2022, we celebrate our 25 years’ establishment as we move ever closer to our goal of being the number one tier two consultancy in Australia. We look forward to working with you.
